Durango Arches is a public art proposal for an interactive sculpture / furniture fixture for the North Main District of Durango.
The sculpture is comprised of an unpaved walking path through a series of folded metal plates that form arches, benches, and a planter. Pedestrians will be able to occupy the sculpture and enjoy the garden. The structure will also be a visible landmark to motorists driving on Main Ave.
